Royal Spring Golf Course
The Royal Springs Golf Course, is a public golf course located near Chashme Shahi over looking Dal Lake in Srinagar, Kashmir. Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar, is one of the finest courses in the country and definitely amongst the most picturesque you’d play in, anywhere in the world. Located in Srinagar, the capital city of the northern most state of India, Jammu & Kashmir, the course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. is set against the backdrop of the Zabarwan Mountains. As scenic as it is, it is no walk in the park, with a challenging layout that includes several well placed bunkers and water hazards. The 18 hole course plays as long as 7089 yards from the back tees, which becomes much longer if you are anywhere in the treacherous rough. The big advantage about playing at the Royal Springs golf club is that when it is hot in other parts of India, the weather here is at its very best for golfing.

3rd Linnunrata Invitational Golf Tournament from the house of Vuenow
The much awaited Linnunrata Invitational Golf Tournament Season 3 was successfully played at the most stunning & breath-taking golf course- The Royal Springs Golf Course, Srinagar on 18th June 2022. It was a Gunshot tournament, with 102 golfers playing for the running trophy. The tournament was played on the Stableford format amidst the Zabarwan hills in the background & the Dal Lake around the corner.
Various prominent personalities participated enthusiastically in the game. To name a few, Sh. Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Sh. Sarmad Hafeez IAS, Secretary Tourism, Government of Jammu & Kashmir & Dr. Farooq Abdullah were some of the golfers along with other distinguished personalities who were present from the valley and other cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, Bengaluru & Uganda. 13 year old Pro player Master Muhammad Yahya Khan & 3 ladies were also part of this fun tournament which was held on a pleasant day in Srinagar.
In the evening a gala prize distribution function was also organized whereby top golfers, business men and other dignitaries were present. The awards were awarded to winner in each fourball.

The overall winner of the Linnunrata Invitational Golf Tournament to win the Trophy was Mr. Umar Yaqoob Mir.
The event was appreciated by one and all and the organizers intend to take this tournament to the Jammu & Kashmir circuit and all the other parts of the country in the near future. The event was presented by Vuenow Group and curated by can & able- the company behind the conceptualization of this tournament.
